In today’s episode we review the hit board game from Leder Games, ROOT.
Now, in Australia, ROOT means something else, but this game is very innocent in it’s design and the way it plays.
ROOT, the board game, with it’s different factions, like the Eyrie, Cats, Vagabond and Lizards, blows our mind with it’s asymmetric design. What does that exactly mean? In the board game ROOT, the characters are not merely a different colour with the same properties, like so many today. The different factions, play completely differently. They have different objectives and score points differently.
